Now that I’ve got your attention… 
If you’re a fan of Krissy4u – Naughty Asian Tgirl, I wanted to take a little second to write about social media. As you may or may not know, many social media sites that were once either “adult friendly” or at the very least, “adult tolerant” have been cracking down on adult content creators. For many of us, this really affects us negatively, impacting our ability to showcase our pictures; clips; and videos, and our ability to self-promote.
The extremely frustrating thing about this as a content creator is that the rules don’t seem to apply across the board for everyone. So, one day, you’re totally fine, and then the next you’ve become “shadow banned” or else found to be in violation of some vague term of service. And of course, you have little recourse when you’re going up against a social media giant like a Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, etc. Anyway… all this to say, I’m pretty much done with those companies.
If you haven’t noticed already, I’ve been slowly reducing my presence on Instagram and Twitter… I’ve already deleted entirely my Tumblr and Facebook. I will no longer support social media sites that are not applying their rules to everyone equally, but are instead showing that they don’t want adult content creators on their sites. Thus far, I’ve kept my Twitter account but if they start going the way of Facebook and Instagram, I’ll be leaving them as well.
I’ve found two excellent replacements for Tumblr and Instagram, and if you want to help support adult content creators, PLEASE follow them on these platforms. They’re both free to browse, and many from the adult industry are slowing finding their way there. I know social media is fun and a great way to interact with your favorite performers, but when these companies are ACTIVELY hurting the viability of adult work, it is time to make some sort of stand, even if it just means reducing your presence or jumping ship entirely.
